In response to the above needs, SKF has adopted the IGTech grinding anti-collision system to help customers improve the grinding efficiency while identifying and controlling the abnormal collision problem software in time.

A power sensor is installed on the CNC IGTech machine to monitor the spindle load in real time, and different threshold triggers are set according to the change of the load value, so as to realize the automatic change of the IGTech speed. Efficiency improvement: the original processing time is 20.99 s, which is reduced to 18.47 s after using the "clearance/anti-collision system", saving 2.52 s and increasing by 12%. Anti-collision: when the real-time power exceeds the anti-collision threshold, an anti-collision signal is sent to the machine tool, and the machine tool resets and sends an abnormal alarm signal.

Through the processing process intelligent monitoring-clearance and anti-collision system, the customer gains the following benefits: 1. Anti-collision income: In 2018, there were 7 collisions in the outer circle, and the loss of 2000 yuan was temporarily calculated, which could avoid 2.8 million yuan in two years. Losses include: maintenance costs, parts costs, labor costs, production costs (online production will have a serious impact on the subsequent process) and so on. 2. Income from empty journey elimination: The income is calculated according to the average efficiency increase of 10% after improvement. The cost can be saved by about 30,000 yuan in two years from the comprehensive accounting of personnel, site, management, equipment depreciation and other aspects.
